On October 22-26, one of the major exhibitions for the European retail HOST Milano in Italy took place. Hitline presented environmentally friendly solutions in the field of commercial refrigeration equipment designed for small format stores to the European market.
23 novelties of specialized refrigeration equipment, as well as counters for promotional and impulse sales, taking into account the specifics of European countries, always famous for their grocery boutiques, meat and fish shops, small family stores. All refrigeration equipment is developed according to the latest trends in global retail: ergonomics, castomization, environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.

One of the main innovations at the Hitline stand was a line of specialized counters for exhibiting and selling seafood. Built into the line round promo segment for the demonstration and sales of goods on ice “Missouri promo AC 148 fish L A” allows to emphasize a delicatessen group of seafood. A rotative refrigerated drum and side elements that were provided to change the angle of placement of butt-jointed counters are installed in the counter. The outer top surfaces are made of polished stone, and the front panels are decorated with natural stone gasket with LED lighting. We presented two more counters for sale of fish on ice in the line: “Missouri AC 120 fish OS” with the additional cooled tray and solid-bent frontal glazing, and a self-service counter with the cascade goods lay-out “Missouri AC 120 cascade fish self 120” and also showed the module for preserves “Missouri AC 120 preserves self 092” with temperature regime -8…-4 ℃.
The exposition for seafood is complemented with self-inclusive promotional counter “Virginia Al 110 fish self 092” with static cooling and additional refrigerated tray. The elements of the counter are made of food stainless steel and the countertop is made of polished stone.
Among the exhibits of the exhibition is the island for vegetables and fruits “Indiana eco MSV 070 MT O 130”. With a height of 1300 mm, counters do not cover the retail space of stores, while forming zones for the sale of vegetables and fruits of any configuration – from straight to island-type. Neutral corner elements can be equipped with both shelves and baskets.
A spectacular layout of tropical fruits is presented in the new self-inclusive promotional counter “Virginia AI 122 VF self 112”. Developed at the request of one of the major retail chains, the counter supplemented the Hitline range in the equipment segment for promo sales of fruits and berries. The counter is decorated with handmade vine platting along the perimeter and the upper outer surfaces are made of polished stone.
As a universal solution for promotional sales, we demonstrated “Virginia AK 120 deli self 097” counter. The design of the counter includes a mechanism for changing the inclination of the upper volume with the product. This makes it possible to use the counter both in the central part of the trading space and as a wall-type while it is always possible to advantageously change the angle of demonstration of the goods for the buyer.
A cabinet with panoramic glazing “Kansas A4SG 078” was also presented for the demonstration and sales of cheeses. The static cooling system in combination with two-chamber glass windows made of hardened glass and a propane plug-in unit meet the energy efficiency criteria as much as possible. The cabinet can be equipped with both sliding and hinged doors.
A special solution for small stores which will become an excellent auxiliary tool for impulse sales and help in the reasonable organization of shopping time for the buyer is wine and flower cabinets “Indiana eco ASV 070”. The cabinet for flowers is equipped with 2 rows of vases, and in the wine room shelves with wooden fasteners for bottles are designed, which are located horizontally at an angle of 20º, and wooden boxes are installed.
Hitline has introduced number of solutions for the meat departments of stores. This exposition includes “Indiana medium AV 070 MT D” multideck cabinets with sliding energy-saving doors. The technological design of one of them allows performing intermediate preparation of meat before sales. The multideck cabinet has working space with a tabletop for cutting meat. The upper part of the volume of the multideck cabinet is allocated to demonstrate meat on hooks and the lower part consists of retractable shelves with gastro containers with meat or mince placed on them.
A version of “Indiana medium AV 070 MT D” multideck cabinet was also presented to demonstrate and sell finished meat products: sausages and smoked meat.
For cooked grilled meat dishes the heating module “Indiana medium NV 066 heat O” was demonstrated. Due to the heating of the demonstration volume and shelves in the multideck cabinet, the necessary temperature is maintained for the prepared meat products.
